ACCREDITATION / EXAMINING BODIES
Training is based on rich curriculum that responds to job market. We adhere to the requirements of National Council for Higher education, Uganda Business Technical Examinations Board (UBTEB), Directorate of Industrial Training. (DIT). The institute is accredited by National Council for Higher Education.
INDUSTRIAL TRAINING
By the end of the study at NVI, all students will have undertaken a four sessions of industrial training each running for three months for both Diploma and Certficate respectively. We seek placement in Hotels, industries and organizations. Early Childhood development students undergo six weeks school practice.
TRAINING APPROACH
The training approach is based on a production oriented approach, with emphasis on practical work, that constitutes 70% of the teaching time at NVI and 30% spent on related concepts. General subjects like English, Mathematics, computer, enterprenueral skills and bible are done by all students. French and Kiswahili are offered to Catering, Hotel management, and Business respectively.

PROFILE
Nile Vocational Institute (NVI) is a private Vocational Institute established by the African Evangelistic Enterprise (AEE), a Ugandan NGO in partnership with a Germany Child Care Organisation – Kindernothilfe (KNH) -Helping a child in need.
NVI was founded in 1988 and is registered with the Ministry of Education and Sports as a Technical Institution under registration number PTS/N/40.
Establishement of the Institute was premised on an effort to mitigate the effects of the brutal regimes in the 1970s and early 1980s coupled with the HIV/AIDS scourge, AEE in partnership with KNH aimed at providing interventions to salvage the desperate situation at the time especially among the young people, through preaching the gospel of hope and provide employable Vocational skills to the many orphans and vulnerable youths, for self sustenance.
